Sorry, you’re right, I just re-checked it and it is â‚¬343. I don’t know how I managed to get â‚¬256. Maybe that’s why Apple aren’t asking me to work on their European pricing

Where are you getting â‚¬256 from? I’m getting a conversion of â‚¬343.368 on xe.com/ucc for $499.

That’s always bugged me about Apples pricing structure. Apple just put a euro sign in front of their US price list, so we end up get screwed.

Did a quick check, and $499 should convert to about â‚¬256, which would make the decision to get one a whole lot more interesting.

Aii, it’s the application stuff which makes my tail wag the most.

I wouldn’t pay â‚¬459 for a 32GB Touch though. The reduced American price makes it a feasible purchase (as long as I can recoup a bit of cash from the sale of my 30GB video Ipod).

At â‚¬459 for the 32GB version, price wise it’s hard to justify, especially when the 8GB Nano is â‚¬199 and the 80GB Classic is â‚¬249.

Still though, it is the best looking ipod and with a decent wifi connection it would make the perfect Internet tablet – though at that size, tablette would probably be more appropriate!
